Ann’s journey into the world of credit began at a large (now defunct) department store, where she worked as a credit authorizer. It was there that she discovered her passion for client service and witnessed firsthand the powerful impact that credit can have on people’s lives.

Although she originally planned to pursue a career in Public Relations—earning a degree in Political Science and a diploma in PR—her path shifted when she accepted a role in the mortgage division of a major insurance company.

Over the next 14 years, Ann held various positions in operations and leadership, gaining deep experience across the mortgage lifecycle as the company grew into one of the largest Monoline Lenders in Canada.

She then moved on to a Schedule I Bank, where she spent another 14 years honing her expertise. It was there that she met Patrick, and learned about his vision for expanding Guardian Mortgages. Drawn to Guardian’s mission and values, Ann knew it was the perfect opportunity to align her passion for helping people achieve financial freedom with her professional experience.

Ann is thrilled to be part of Guardian and looks forward to contributing to its continued growth.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time and travelling with her husband Tom.
